ELAN, Sunfire, HomeLogic, and ATON Add More Road Show Grand Prizes

ELAN Home Systems with sister companies; Sunfire, HomeLogic, and ATON announced two major new grand prize additions to the already spectacular array of prizes being offered to Dealer attendees through a drawing at the close of the Group’s massive, 50 city Takin’ It to the Streets 2009 North American road show. Two lucky winning companies will each be treated to a trip for two to attend a Doobie Brothers concert in Chicago. The second addition offers up ELAN’s President and CTO Bob Farinelli for an exclusive “Dealer Day” on-site visit to aid their business in almost any way the Dealer sees fit. These two latest prize additions bring even more excitement and value to the Dealer product and sales show, and add to the roughly $30,000 in prizes announced previously. Grand prizes will be drawn and awarded to lucky Dealer attendees at the close of the show in July. The announcement was made by Paul Starkey, ELAN’s Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

Each of the two Doobie Brothers prize packages include — two tickets for the group’s August 3, 2009 concert at the Ravinia Amphitheater in Chicago, Illinois plus air transportation, or mileage reimbursement if within driving distance, and overnight hotel accommodations for two. Winners will also receive limited-edition bottles of Doobie Brothers wine from B.R. Cohn Winery, a co-sponsor of the event along with the ELAN Group.

Truly a one-of-a-kind prize, the exclusive Dealer Day with ELAN’s President will have Mr. Farinelli rolling up his sleeves and working alongside the lucky winning Dealer’s installation team on one of their upcoming ELAN installations. Bob Farinelli, the industry’s hardest working Whole House Innovator, will travel anywhere in order to be on-site and immerse himself in the thick of the Dealer’s day pulling wire or utilizing his expertise to assist in any number of ways that may be called for by the job.

Participation in the new, as well as existing, grand prize drawings are open to all Dealers who attend any road show including the kick-off sessions held earlier at EHX.

In addition to the two Doobie Brothers’ Concert trips and the “Dealer day with Bob”, previously announced grand prizes include a complete 5.1 Sunfire HRS Home Theater System, either an ELAN Home System or Sound Package, a HomeLogic fully loaded Mobile “iCool” Control package including an iPod touch, and an ATON CAT5 Digital Audio System to be awarded at the conclusion of the tour. Four iPod touches, pre-loaded with the brand new HomeLogic Mobile Control App, will be also be awarded. The ‘Takin’ it to the Streets’ tour, named in honor of the Doobie Brother’s sixth album, will crisscross the entire country and include jaunts to Hawaii and Canada. Similar to a manufacturer “line show”, it is the group’s biggest product rollout and new sales promotion of the year officially starting in Kansas City March 31st and finishing in Toronto, Canada, and was developed with a keen eye on saving Dealers time and travel costs in today’s unusual market.

“Adding the Doobie Brothers’ prize package and Bob’s enthusiastic participation in our mega tour adds a level of fun and energy to an already compelling Dealer program,” said Mr. Starkey. “Bob is prepared to jump on a plane and go pull wire anywhere as our special thanks to the people who helped put us on the map. We are on a roll bringing knowledge and sales potential to our Dealers, AND are clearly going to be having a lot of fun with this tour every inch of the way!”

Road show admission is free for Dealers, who will profit from the many new product introductions and tour-only selling promotions for all four of the Group’s brands. Dealers will also have the opportunity to win t-shirt and other small prizes at each of the various tour stops and become eligible to win one of the eleven grand prizes through the drawings to be held at the close of the tour. Additional details are available at roadshow09.com. Free registration is required to attend all official tour sessions and is also available online at this link.
