Debut 3.0 10-inch DS103-BK, 12-inch DS123-BK, 15-inch DS153-BK Subwoofers

ELAC has landed at High End Munich 2025 with a suitcase full of new gear (see our companion articles if you’re into spoilers), including the new Debut 3.0 Series Subwoofers. Available in 10”, 12”, and 15” flavors, these subs are built with custom drivers, efficient amps, and cabinets that actually look like someone cared about your living room. It’s bass without the bulk—or the visual regret.

With the launch of the budget-priced ELAC Debut 3.0 series loudspeakers ($400-$1,300) last year, consumers can now add matching subwoofers to complete an all-ELAC home theater speaker system for much less than one might expect.

Features

Sealed Cabinet Design: The sealed enclosure design of the Debut 3.0 subwoofers keeps distortion in check and delivers quick, clean bass. The result? Tight, articulate low-end that plays nice with the rest of your system instead of stomping all over it.

Custom Drivers: The Debut 3.0 Subwoofers use custom drivers built for deep, dynamic bass without the mud. Designed for high excursion, these drivers stay composed even when pushed hard. The rigid, lightweight polypropylene cones feature a textured surface for extra stiffness, keeping things tight and clear when the volume knob climbs north.

Class D Amplification: The Debut 3.0 Subwoofers use Class D amps that dish out plenty of clean power without breaking a sweat. They run cool, stay efficient, and don’t flinch when you crank the volume—just the way a good sub amp should.

High Level In/Out: The Debut 3.0 subs are built to play nice with just about anything. With high-level inputs and outputs, they slot into AV receivers, stereo amps, or whatever else you’ve got without a fuss—making setup easy and performance rock solid no matter the system.

Auto On/Off:  The auto signal detection feature powers the subwoofer on when it detects an audio signal and switches it off when idle for a period of time. The is a great energy-saving tool that does not need manual intervention unless you want to turn this feature off.

Easy Speaker System Integration: The Debut 3.0 subs will get along with any speaker setup, but they’re built to lock in perfectly with ELAC’s own Debut 3.0 Series. With 10″, 12″, and 15″ options, there’s a size that’ll fit your room—and your bass cravings—just right.
