Draper Redesigned rear projection systems at InfoComm

Draper has redesigned its line of rear projection systems, making them lighter weight and easier to install.
The supporting frame is now constructed of unitized framework of blue extruded aluminum with a 2″ square cross section, fabricated from 6061-T6 alloy. It is sized to fit perfectly in your projection room, based upon dimensions you furnish. Each Draper RPX unit comes ready to assemble using provided bolts and hand tools. Using the lettered parts, shoulder bolts and slots for the mirror, and pre-drilled projector cradle, Draper’s RPX units can be assembled in just a few minutes, and the six-axis adjustable platform makes short work of adjusting the projector into place.
“The concept we went into the redesign was simple,” according to Jim Hoodlebrink, information display systems manager for Draper. “We wanted to keep the superior stability and strength of our rear projection systems, while making them lighter for shipping, and shaving a lot of time off the installation process.”
With Draper’s optional Mirror Manager, even fine-tuning the picture onto the screen now takes minutes, saving even more time and money for the installer.
For an up-close look at Draper’s redesigned RPX Rear Projection Systems, stop by booth 1341 during InfoComm 2004, June 9-11 in Atlanta.
