Dialogic Celebrates Two and a Half Million Boards Sold
Over 35 Million Ports Shipped Globally
Miami, Florida. March 12, 2007 — During the keynote address at the Dialogic ONE Event 2007 held March 5th to 8th at the Doral Golf Resort and Spa in Miami, Florida, Dialogic Corporation (“Dialogic”) CEO Nick Jensen announced that the 2,500,000th Dialogic board had recently been sold. A handsome plaque honoring the occasion was presented to Craig A. Webster, Senior Vice President of Systems Development at West Interactive, a subsidiary of West Corporation and the customer who actually purchased the milestone board.
“Two and a half million boards sold reflects our incredible success,” commented Rob Martinez, Vice President of Americas Sales at Dialogic. “We are thrilled that this board was sold to West Interactive, which has been a loyal customer of ours since 1990. We were pioneers together in call center technology and IVR — and now are working closely together in the move to IP.”
Craig Webster was equally enthusiastic about West’s long-standing relationship with Dialogic. “We congratulate a great company,” said Webster. “Our relationship with Dialogic parallels the progress of the industry, allowing us to make our customer solutions increasingly efficient, feature-rich, and cost-effective and helping us to continually build on our past successes. We began working with people at Dialogic as we adopted some of the earliest innovations of computer telephony, we moved through the transition to TDM together, and now we are using Dialogic’s leading IP products, including Host Media Processing software.”
To mark the historic sale, Dialogic commissioned two identical plaques, each containing a golden telephony board. One plaque will hang at West Interactive in Omaha, Neb., and the other in the lobby at the Dialogic site in Parsippany, New Jersey.
