Deep bass doesn’t just add weight to movies and music—it defines the space, pacing, and realism of what you hear. But clean, well-integrated low-end is hard to do right. That’s where the new DALI V-16 F steps in. Built to support the company’s flagship KORE and EPIKORE loudspeakers, this is DALI’s most advanced subwoofer to date—designed not just to go low, but to stay articulate and in control while doing it.
The uber high-end subwoofer market has seen significant growth, with manufacturers like McIntosh, SVS, and Grimani Systems pushing the boundaries of bass reproduction. The McIntosh PS1K, for instance, is a true powerhouse with 2000 watts of continuous power and an unmatched ability to deliver deep, controlled bass, appealing to audiophiles and home theater enthusiasts alike.
Similarly, SVS’s 5000 R|Evolution series has revolutionized performance with its advanced technology and fine-tuned engineering, bringing extreme low-frequency precision to large spaces. Not to be outdone, Grimani Systems’ IS-21 Infrasonic subwoofer offers an ultra-low-frequency response that’s designed to deliver immersive cinema-grade bass in even the most demanding environments.
DALI V-16 F Subwoofer Details

At its core is a 16-inch driver with a massive ±16 mm linear travel, housed in a 90-liter cabinet and backed by 1500 watts of Class D power (2500 W peak). DALI’s design focus was low distortion, low group delay, and bandwidth that extends cleanly down to 19 Hz in-room.
Four flare-tuned reflex ports and a broad suite of DSP tools (including Room Mode Attenuation and Constant Group Delay) make it adaptable to both large listening rooms and tighter home theater setups.
The V-16 F plays clean, fast, and deep without stepping on the midrange or losing pitch definition. Whether you’re matching it with a pair of EPIKORE 11s in a reference stereo system or dropping it into a multichannel setup with the full KORE treatment, the sub keeps up—without drawing attention to itself or bloating the presentation.
As DALI puts it, they built the V-16 F because serious low-end deserves the same engineering attention as the rest of the system. No gimmicks, no fluff—just the company’s best thinking on subwoofer design, delivered in one understated and brutally capable box.
surface, and thereby lower distortion overall.

DALI Adds New High-Gloss Finishes to KORE and EPIKORE Loudspeakers
Alongside the debut of the V-16 F flagship subwoofer at High End Munich 2025, DALI is expanding the aesthetic appeal of its top-tier loudspeakers. The KORE now comes in a range of seven new high-gloss finishes—Velvet Red, Navy Blue, Steel Grey, Racing Green, White, Black, and a second edition of Amara Ebony.
These are available to order starting May 15th. Meanwhile, the EPIKORE range gets a crisp new look with an all-white edition across the lineup, arriving in November. Danish performance, now dressed to impress.
The Bottom Line
High End Munich 2025 might go down as the “Pantone Edition” of audio shows, with brands like DALI and Focal treating loudspeakers like luxury handbags—new finishes, same sonic muscle. But amidst the color parade, DALI’s V-16 F subwoofer is the real heavyweight. With 1500 watts of Class-D power and a 16-inch driver built for controlled fury, it’s designed to anchor flagship systems like KORE and EPIKORE with precision and authority. While everyone else is chasing paint samples, DALI quietly dropped a bass cannon.
