CTI Group Partners with Alteva

Hosted VoIP Call Recording Affordable for All Businesses

CTI Group (Holdings), Inc., an international provider of electronic invoice processing and management (EIM), enterprise communications management software and services solutions, and carrier class VoIP management applications, today announced a partnership with Alteva, North America’s largest enterprise hosted VoIP provider, to provide hosted call recording on Alteva’s hosted VoIP platform. After strenuous lab testing and verification, CTI Group’s hosted call recording was found to be the most secure, user-friendly, and cost-effective call recording solution that met the specific needs of Alteva and its small business and enterprise customers.

Alteva is proud of their record as industry pioneers in quality and reliability. As the VoIP industry continues to grow, the applications and features required are continuing to grow as well. Alteva offers IP telephony service using BroadSoft’s BroadWorks switching platform. Since SmartRecord IP has already integrated with the BroadWorks platform, the ease of integration with Alteva was simple. Alteva’s decision to partner with CTI Group to provide hosted call recording on their VoIP platform centered largely around the secure, cost-effective and easy-to-use internet application that CTI Group offers.

“Alteva is eager to add the applications that our customers need, but we want to be sure that the applications we choose are the best fit for our business model. With no proprietary hardware or software installation required, CTI Group’s call recording allows customers to simply log in to the online system and begin reviewing call data without any pesky roadblocks. This fits perfectly into our business model since we pride ourselves on the fact that our hosted service has no significant cost or operational barriers, making the crossover to hosted VoIP painless to small and large businesses alike,” said William Bumbernick, CEO of Alteva.

CTI Group’s VoIP call recording solution, SmartRecord IP, eliminates the need for premise-based recording equipment and packet-sniffing technologies. CTI Group uses a unique approach to capture telephone conversations which helps to eliminate costly network changes or the deployment of multiple premise-based recorders by acting as a central recording device within the network. Its white-labeled and multi-tenant architecture along with its geographic redundancy and scalability, make it an easy fit for hosted VoIP providers.

“We are proud to join forces with Alteva to provide call recording to the hosted VoIP market. By adding applications, like call recording, to their platform, Alteva is able to provide cost effective features their customers need to fully transition to hosted VoIP. Customers can continue to run their business as before and even add unified communications and other features that improve business processes, employee productivity and overall profitability. Call recording not only provides businesses with the ability to better monitor and manage their ongoing communications, it also provides a security blanket when it comes to regulatory compliance and exposure to legal liability,” Sid Rao, Chief Technology Officer, CTI Group.
