Crestron TPS-6X Wins Most InAVative Control Product Award at ISE 2009

The winners of the EMEA InAVation Awards were announced last night at the annual Integrated Systems Europe (ISE 2009) banquet held at the Hotel Okura, Amsterdam. Among the winners, the Crestron TPS-6X Isys Wireless Touchpanel was recognized by the industry as the “Most InAVative Control Product for Residential Use.” The TPS-6X is a slim, lightweight touchpanel designed for speed and versatility. While docked, TPS-6X is a wired Cresnet or Ethernet panel that displays full-motion video; off the dock, it is a wireless 2-way 2.4 GHz RF with backlit button engraving that makes them easy to read in variable lighting conditions.

All global AV manufacturers that released products made commercially available throughout the EMEA+ marketplace within the 2008 calendar year were eligible. More than 180 products were entered in this year’s awards program. Sixty-six finalists in 11 categories generated over 12,000 individual industry votes. This is the fourth award for the TPS-6X, which was released July 2008.

Despite harsh weather conditions, the Crestron booth #F14/F23 at ISE 2009 was packed with enthusiastic attendees, impressed by all the new products and technologies introduced this year. Highlights of the show have included the new award-winning ADMS (Adagio Digital Media System), Crestron iServer™, and of course, the TPS-6X touchpanel. The new MPC room controllers and Crestron Green Light™ environmental control solutions have also drawn huge crowds. The most overwhelming response at ISE has been to the revolutionary Crestron DigitalMedia™.
