Cooler Master delivers Real Power 550W for power users looking for the ultimate graphics performance

Real Power 550W certified as NVIDIA SLI-READY Power Supply

23 November 2005 – Cooler Master has launched the Real Power 550W, a new, high-performance and compact power supply for real enthusiasts and power users looking to get the ultimate in graphics performance from their PCs.

The Real Power 550W is listed in the SLI Zone, certified by NVIDIA SLI for use with parallel SLI-enabled PCI-e graphics cards. Its high capacity, continuous stability and reliability make the Real Power 550W ideal for power PC users, mini-servers and workstations. An innovative new feature is the continuous analogue display that shows actual power consumption. This makes it easy to check capacity for additional consumer loads such as disks.

The patented Real Power 550W supports the latest Intel ATX 12V V2.01 standard as well as the SSI EPS 12V V2.1 form factor. With a continuous output of 550 watts and a peak capacity of 650 watts, intelligent control of the fan speed limits noise to less than 23dBA.

In addition, the Real Power 550W power supply conforms to all security regulations and meets Energy Star guidelines as well as the important Blue Angel criteria. And for users that like to customise their systems, the fan is fitted with a high intensity blue 120mm LED.

The Real Power 550-ACLY is now available at a recommended retail price of £99 (€138 including VAT) and carries a 36-month guarantee.
