Colorado vNet Names John P. McCready as VP of Sales

Loveland, CO — April 7, 2006 — Colorado vNet, provider of premium whole-house automation and distributed audio solutions, announces the appointment of John P. McCready as Vice President of Sales.

McCready, a 30-year veteran of the consumer electronics industry, now heads the world-wide sales team for Colorado vNet’s products and solutions. He was previously President of Marantz America and has held positions at Harman Consumer Group, Carver Corporation, Hometech Electronics and Quasar Corporation.

“John is a seasoned executive with a strong track record of delivering world-class audio products,” said Bill Beierwaltes, President and CEO of Colorado vNet. “His broad industry experience, passion for delivering value, and commitment to people makes him an ideal leader for our sales team.”

Under McCready’s leadership, sales at Marantz America increased from four fold in five years by improving distribution, enhancing dealer mix, developing a product strategy focused on the audio/video specialist dealer, and growing the custom installation market.
