Casio Welcomes New Director of Marketing for EMI

CASIO AMERICA, INC BRINGS MUSIC INDUSTRY VETERAN ABOARD TO SERVE AS DIRECTOR OF MARKETING FOR EMI

Mike Martin joins Casio America, Inc.

DOVER, NJ, JULY 24, 2008 — Casio America, Inc., a leader in consumer electronics, welcomes Mike Martin as Director of Marketing for the Electronic Musical Instrument (EMI) division. Martin joins Casio from TC Electronic, where he served as National Sales Manager for MI and Recording Products.

In this new position at Casio, Martin will report to Peter Brinkman, Vice President of Casio’s Consumer Products Division, and will be responsible for executing marketing and product plans for Casio’s music products.

Martin has an extensive background in the music industry spanning over 20 years. While at TC Electronic, Martin was instrumental in launching and supporting a new line of computer audio interfaces. Prior to joining TC Electronic in 2005, Martin held management, product development, sound design and sales positions with Yamaha Corporation of America, Kurzweil Music Systems and Sonic Foundry. At Yamaha, he oversaw budgeting, marketing direction, sales programs and promotional efforts for professional synthesizers, digital pianos and computer recording products. A graduate of Capital University, Martin is also a professional musician.
