Canon Announces Try My Photo Program

New Program Designed to Let Consumers Experience Canon’s Printing Expertise Before Purchasing

Canon U.S.A., Inc., a leader in digital imaging technology, has announced the “Try My Photo” program which will give consumers in the U.S. the opportunity to select an eligible digital image of their choice to be printed out on a select Canon printer to demonstrate Canon’s quality printing capabilities and help participants make a more educated decision when purchasing a printer.
“The ‘Try My Photo’ program will allow Canon to showcase the printing capabilities of our award- winning products,” said Yuichi Ishizuka, senior vice president and general manager, Consumer Imaging Group, Canon U.S.A. “This program will give consumers a sample print of their own image and provide first-hand knowledge of the quality prints a Canon printer is capable of creating while at the same time giving the consumer the power to make an educated choice on what printer to purchase.”

With this program, consumers who visit http://www.usa.canon.com/trymyphoto will have the opportunity to upload an eligible personal image and send it to Canon U.S.A., which will then print the image using the SELPHY ES2 compact photo printer. In about a week, participants will have their finished print mailed to the domestic address they specify to enjoy at no cost. The consumer will then have the ability to compare their own personal Canon print with prints made by other means to help make the best choice regarding which printer to purchase.

Along with the image, the consumer who participates in this program can receive additional product information and special offers. In the future, additional award-winning PIXMA Photo Printer models will also be available as a part of this program.
