New Products on Display at ISE 2009:

EXPAND-ON Sleeving Applicator
BTX introduces the EXPAND-ON, a new patent-pending machine that eliminates the tedious process of applying expandable sleeving to a cable bundle. Designed to work with cable bundles of 50 feet, 100 feet, and much longer, and accommodating sleeving ranging from A½ inch to 1 A¾ inches, this new machine reduces the time it takes to apply expandable sleeving from hours to a few minutes, saving installers both time and money. Installers simply load the sleeving over the tube, push the wire bundle through the inside of the tube until it appears out of the other end, and then pull both the sleeving and wire bundle together to the desired length.

Three different EXPAND-ON kits are available for installers. The Deluxe Kit features a base unit, a stand on which to mount the machine, and a full set of tubes. The Complete Kit includes a base unit that can be mounted to a standard bench and a full set of tubes. The Single Kit consists of the base unit and the most popular 1-inch tube.

The EXPAND-ON Sleeving Applicator has been named a finalist in the Technology InAVation Awards for the Most InAVative AV accessory for commercial and residential applications.

ProBlox™
BTX Technologies will show its new ProBlox™ system for the first time at ISE 2009. As a cost-effective solution for bundling numerous signals, the ProBlox system combines 16 coax and 26 audio/data/control contacts in one multi-connector. This allows fast and simple set-up and tear-down in broadcast and A/V applications, such as remote broadcasting, rental and rack staging, corporate settings, podiums, and more.

The field-terminatable single-block system is custom configurable for thousands of combinations of VGA, component, composite, balanced, and unbalanced audio, data, and control signals. Built of rugged and durable components, and offering 75-ohm video contacts for a true HD signal, the ProBlox system reduces the number of individual cables for less clutter and a clean finished look.
