Full-Featured Music-and-Movie Entertainment System Delivers Performance, Convenience and Value Plus UniView Video

The Boston Acoustics Avidea 610 is a completely integrated movie-and-music home entertainment system of unparalleled value. Innovatively combining form and function, it delivers outstanding audio and video performance in a compact package that’s exceptionally easy to install and use.

The system consists of a combined DVD/CD Player and Receiver, four Silver Micro110x Satellite Speakers, a Silver Micro110c Center Channel, a PV700 Powered Subwoofer, and an easy-to-use Universal Remote Control.

The sound quality is pure, natural, true to the original — The Boston Sound. It is the sound recognized for its smooth octave-to-octave tonal balance, from the deepest bass to the highest treble. All Boston Acoustics systems present highs, mids and lows in perfect balance. It is the same consistent voice you hear no matter which Boston speakers you are listening to, including those of the Avidea 610.

The Player/Receiver is compatible with today’s most popular disc and surround sound formats, including DVD, CD, Video CD, MP3, WMA, CD-R, CD-RW, JPEG images and Picture CDs. The Player/Receiver also features progressive scan (480p) component video output from the internal DVD drive; compatibility with Dolby Digital, DTS and Dolby Pro Logic II audio sources; and a high-performance AM/FM Tuner with 40 presets.

In addition, Boston Acoustics’ proprietary UniView™ technology ensures video connectivity without complexity. Users can add any video device to the Avidea 610 without concern about connector type. UniView automatically sorts it all out, converting any video input to 480i component output and assuring the best possible picture quality regardless of source. The result is unprecedented ease of connection and operation. Users can instantly, and correctly, connect any video device, regardless of connector type. With an HD-ready TV, video sources such as digital cable and satellite look as good as DVD.

The Avidea 610 delivers detailed and dynamic sound through a robust satellite/subwoofer speaker system. Five timbre-matched Micro110x compact satellite speakers, including a Micro110c center-channel speaker, all featuring two-way designs, complement a powerful 200-watt PV700 Powered Subwoofer. The PV700 boasts a 12-inch driver and Boston Acoustics’ Deep Channel Design™ (DCD™) technology that enables the front-firing woofer to utilize a smaller-than-expected enclosure. Proprietary BassTrac circuitry assures low distortion for the sub, even at high output levels.
