Boost Mobile Phones Now Available at RadioShack

Launch Expected to Boost RadioShack’s Wireless Phone Sales at Select Locations

Boost Mobile, a lifestyle-based telecommunications brand that develops and distributes wireless communications products for the youth market, today announced that 672 RadioShack retail stores are now offering Boost Mobile’s™ Pay-As-You-Go wireless phones and services. RadioShack stores are the latest retail channel carrying Boost Mobile phones and services joining other retailers including Target, Wal-Mart and Best Buy.

“Boost Mobile is an extremely popular wireless brand among urban youth and RadioShack has a high concentration of retail stores located in urban centers,” said Boost Mobile Vice President of Sales Michael Lanzon. “We are expecting significant interest from these RadioShack locations as the stores will enable our target customers to more easily find and purchase Boost phones and airtime.”

Boost Mobile phones now available at RadioShack stores include:

Value-Priced Motorola i415 & i455

High quality and affordability come together with the Motorola i415 and i455. Both phones come equipped with large color screens (130 x 130), V-Card, Java-enabled games and applications, hands-free speakerphone, picture viewer, Boost™ Multi-Media Messaging, Text Messaging, and Wireless Web, polyphonic and voice ring tones, GPS navigation and on-demand multi-media services – all at a price under $100 ($49.99 for the i415 and $89.99 for the i455).

Jet Black Feature Packed Motorola i835

Offered at $129.99, the jet black feature-packed Motorola i835 offers new features such as V-Card that allows users to send and receive contact information to friends using the Boost™ Walkie-Talkie feature and My Pictures that enables users to store and forward pictures received via Multi-Media Messaging ($.25 per message to both send and receive images and audio). In addition, the handset comes preloaded with Java games including 5-Card Draw poker and Skate & Slam, exclusive action sports and graffiti wallpapers, GPS navigation and on-demand multi-media services, and polyphonic and voice ringtones.

Boost Mobile customers pay for minutes only as they need them through the purchase of Re-Boost Cards, also available at RadioShack stores. There are no credit checks, hidden charges or monthly bills. Re-Boost Cards are available in $20, $30 and $50 denominations. Boost Mobile pay-as-you-go pricing aims to provide maximum value to youth customers by offering competitive peak and off-peak rates that meet their lifestyle needs. Calls are 20 cents per minute Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., and 10 cents per minute after 9:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and on weekends (long distance calling and roaming included at no extra charge). Boost™ Walkie-Talkie is a dollar a day for unlimited nationwide use and the charge applies only on the days the service is used.
