New family member makes your second television room the place to be

BeoCenter 6-26 makes the BeoCenter 6 family the most versatile second room TV family in the world. The choice is yours; 23 or 26 inch, FM or DAB radio, DVB-S or surround sound, link room or main room, any loudspeaker from the BeoLab range, five different colour options, four different stands. Whatever you want, you can count on BeoCenter 6.

Bang & Olufsen has released the BeoCenter 6-26 television, the latest addition to the BeoCenter 6 family. With a 26″ widescreen, a powerful two-way loudspeaker system, FM or FM/DAB radio and the option of adding a DVB-S module or integrating a digital surround sound module, the BeoCenter 6-26 performs so well that it will make your “second television room” the place to be.

“BeoCenter 6 is an elegant and simple plug-and-play television that integrates picture and sound in a compact cabinet, designed to integrate easily into your home,” says Ole Moltsen, Senior Product Manager, Bang & Olufsen. He adds “The BeoCenter 6-26 offers optimal picture quality for second rooms and a multitude of features, all of which makes it an excellent choice for people with individual requirements.”

Modularity taken to the extreme
Although BeoCenter 6-26 is well-equipped, the key is simplicity and ease of use when operating it with the Beo4 remote control enclosed with Bang & Olufsen televisions. At the touch of a button, you can distribute sound or picture via the proprietary BeoLink system, or allow it to work as a link room TV receiving signals from all connected sources in your main room. All you need is a Master Link cable. Besides incorporating a choice between FM and DAB radio, BeoCenter 6-26 also offers a number of features such as wake-up timer and timer play functionality that is a big plus when you want to use the radio.

A HD-ready TV solution
Bang & Olufsen has carefully selected the best LCD screen available and added to it a number of picture-optimising features from the VisionClear concept, which is implemented in all Bang & Olufsen televisions. It is based on progressive display technology; a high-glare screen, rarely offered in a television, which allows us to optimise contrast considerably. By adding clear front glass and anti-reflection coating, BeoCenter 6-26 also achieves a much brighter picture, which is highly advantageous also in daytime viewing. The new screen offers a wider viewing angle than most, allowing you to place BeoCenter 6-26 in the kitchen or in a hallway. The digital video (DVI-I) input, with signal quality and content protection fully equal to HDMI, makes BeoCenter 6-26 an extremely versatile and HD-ready TV solution.

Sound to match the picture
The integrated two-way loudspeaker system of BeoCenter 6-26 is optimised for use in a second room situation. However, if you want, you can extend it with any loudspeaker setup from the BeoLab portfolio. You can even integrate a digital surround sound module, and get a full surround sound performance from this compact setup. The slight tilt of the loudspeaker system underneath the screen helps to move the sound upwards, relating it closely to what is happening on the screen.

Matching any home interior in colour and placement
The hand-crafted, elegant aluminium front and frame are available in a number of colours which allow you to match almost any interior decoration you may have. The colours range from a discrete aluminium, black and dark grey version to an elegant blue or red colour.

Like BeoCenter 6-23, the 26-inch version also offers a number of stands and bracket solutions. Using the wall bracket in a narrow corner or on a sloping wall, you can find room for BeoCenter 6-26 anywhere. Just turn or tilt it for optimum viewing. Choose among the different stands for placement on a shelving system, or the motorised stand for table or floor placement. The latter also allows you to turn the TV by remote control towards your favourite seating position, and automatically return the TV to its resting position when you switch it off again.
