AVAD Opens Second Denver Location

New State-of-the-Art Distribution and Training Center Designed to Provide Outstanding Support to Local Dealer Base

Van Nuys, Calif. — October 26, 2006 — AVAD LLC, America’s leading distributor of custom home electronics, announced today that the company has opened a second distribution center in Denver, Colo., to best serve the area’s southern metro dealer base. Now accepting orders for pickup, the distribution center begins full-scale shipping operations in early November.

At 31,000 square feet, the new facility provides a complete inventory of residential system solutions, as well as comprehensive product training, technical and sales support. The center is conveniently located in Centennial, Colo., in the heart of the Denver Tech Center, just 4 blocks off the I-25 and Dry Creek Rd. exit, for quick and easy access.

True to the AVAD tradition of investing heavily in the technical expertise of their dealers, the location also features a state-of-the-art training facility and an additional conference room for dealer and client meetings, training, consultation and service. A 960-square-foot showroom with two dedicated theaters will serve dealers and their clients with active displays and demonstrations of AVAD’s leading brands and technologies.

“We’ve been looking at adding a second Denver location for a number of years,” said Bob Prall, vice president of AVAD Rocky Mountain. “We know from our market research that there is great demand — our customers have been asking for us to establish a second distribution center in the area for some time.”

Bob Gartland, president of AVAD LLC commented: “We’re very excited about the growth outlook for the western United States. This facility is an example of AVAD’s regional expansion plans and investments in both our company’s and our dealer’s future. Our dealers demand the very best in service and support, and we’ll be able to deliver that thanks to this second location.”
