AVAD Metro East Grabs New York Limelight at Home Entertainment Show

Ft. Lauderdale, FL — April 25, 2005 — AVAD Metro East will be spending a lot of New York minutes come end of April. Plans are underway for America’s leading distributor of custom electronic home systems to make a joint appearance with Polk Audio at the 2005 Home Entertainment Show in New York (April 28 — May 1, 2005). This year, the AVAD Metro East/Polk Audio exhibit will carry the theme “Home Entertainment Lifestyles”, and it will feature several of AVAD’s most popular brands which include Marantz, InFocus, Draper, NetStreams and of course, Polk Audio. Attendees, who wish to experience the ultimate in home entertainment, should visit AVAD Metro East/Polk Audio at the East Room of the New York Hilton Hotel. A number of highly qualified AVAD Metro East dealers will be on hand to assist any visitors who wish to learn more about how to easily integrate all of the latest technologies into their homes.

On display will be a home theater system consisting of an InFocus 7210 projector with a Draper 106″ screen. The sound system is made up of Polk LCi Series in-wall speakers, Polk in-wall subwoofers, and a Marantz surround receiver. Complementing the system is a Marantz DVD player & digital VHS machine. Separately on display AVAD Metro East will showcase a Marantz 50″ plasma display with accompanying DVD Player and digital VHS machine; and a NetStreams display, featuring the first its IP-addressable music distribution system–DigiLinX.
