AVAD to Distribute MIDLITE Products

America’s Leading Distributor of Custom Home Electronics Partners with MIDLITE to Distribute Low-voltage Accessories at 37 AVAD locations

Van Nuys, Calif. — July 2, 2007 — AVAD LLC, America’s leading distributor of custom home electronics, announced today that the company has entered into a distribution agreement with MIDLITE Corporation, providers of low-voltage installation accessories for residential or commercial use. The addition of MIDLITE to the AVAD roster continues the distributor’s mission to provide a “one stop shop” for dealers, including not only large electronic components, but also all of the “tools of the trade,” including accessories, testing units, labeling devices and more.

Effective immediately, AVAD will distribute MIDLITE’s variety of plates, connectors, wire management and other installation accessories. By partnering with AVAD, MIDLITE now has access to the AVAD network of over 9,000 dealers, enabling the company to broaden its reach within the custom installation market and ensuring their products are available in inventory to service AVAD dealers promptly and earnestly.

In addition, AVAD will provide dealers with MIDLITE product training, product support and fast and easy access to inventory at locations across the country.

AVAD dealers will benefit from a wide variety of MIDLITE’s unique low-voltage solutions, affording them the freedom to install streamlined home electronic systems free of wire clutter.
