Noon — 1:00 p.m.
Concepts in Convergence
Moderator: Krissy Rushing, Editor, ConnectedGuide.com

Convergence is a hot subject right now, as the worlds of photography, home theater, music, movies, gaming, and gadgets come together. Managing all of these digital media can be challenging, especially if you don’t know what products are available out there to help you do so. Meet the editors of Home Theater, UltimateAVmag.com, and Stereophile, along with industry luminaries and manufacturers of convergence gear. Discuss the latest in this burgeoning new area and bring your questions.

2:00–300 p.m.
HDTV Super Session
Moderator: Maureen Jensen, Editor, Home Theater

Join a panel of industry experts for the latest information on the state of the transmission art, from Standard-Definition to High-Definition Television. Is it time to buy an HDTV? What is CableCard, and do you need it? Will you need a special antenna to get off-air HDTV? This is your opportunity to ask questions and get the real scoop from the editors of Home Theater magazine, top HDTV manufacturers, and other industry luminaries.

4:00– 5:00 p.m.
The Great Debate: Subjectivism on Trial
Moderator: John Atkinson, Editor, Stereophile

The Great Debate between “subjectivists,” who hear differences among audio components, and “objectivists,” who tend to ascribe such differences to listeners’ overheated imaginations, rages as strongly in the 21st century as it did in the 20th. Join Stereophile editor John Atkinson and one of the Internet’s leading audio skeptics, Arny Krueger, as they debate each other on where the line should be drawn between honest reporting and audio delusion.

Editors and contributors from Home Theater and UltimateAVmag.com are on the hot seat to answer your questions about video technology.
