ASUS ZenPad Z8 Tablet Gets Verizon Exclusive

ASUS ZenPad Z8 Tablet

Verizon announced the upcoming availability of the ASUS ZenPad Z8 16GB Android M, 4G LTE tablet for $249. The budget range tablet features a 7.9″ QXGA 2048×1536 IPS display, dual front speakers, and up to 13 hours of battery life. The device is primarily designed for watching movies, TV shows, and sports, listening to music and playing the latest mobile games.

The ZenPad Z8 uses ASUS VisualMaster technology to enhance and optimize contrast, sharpness, and motion clarity depending on the situation. Dual-front facing stereo speakers and DTS-HD support deliver premium audio for groups just as well as for a single person. A USB Type-C port means that there is no wrong direction to connect the cable and a micro SD slot ensures expanding the device by up to 128GB is fast and easy (card sold separately).

Enabled by the speedy and efficient Snapdragon 650 hexa-core 64-bit processor, the thin and lightweight ASUS ZenPad Z8 is built for rich and immersive multimedia experiences. The Snapdragon 650 processor supports high-quality, efficient performance, multimedia, gaming and connectivity, due to its powerful 64-bit CPUs, integrated X8 LTE modem and Qualcomm Adreno 510 GPU.

Other notables are a 8MP rear camera, but there is no front facing camera for video calling. Support for Verizon’s 4G LTE network, 802.11ac Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth makes for a seamless network experience with a wide range of supported peripherals. Also, the ASUS ZenPad Z8’s back side offers a subtle hairline pattern around the frame for a sleek, refined look.

Price and Availability
The ASUS ZenPad Z8 will be available June 23, 2016 for $249.99 or on a payment plan for $11 x 24 months. Pre-orders are now being accepted www.verizonwireless.com/tablets/asus-zenpad-z8.
