Artisons RCC 300 In-Wall Subwoofer Wins Audioholics 2007 Consumer Excellence Award

Compact RCC 300 In-Wall Subwoofer Takes Top Honor in In-Wall/In-Ceiling Subwoofer Category

Incline Village, Nevada — January 7, 2008 — Artison has announced its RCC 300 In-Wall Subwoofer, a compact and more affordable version of its award-winning RCC 600, has been selected as the winner of the Audioholics 2007 Consumer Excellence Award in the In-Wall/In-Ceiling Subwoofer category.

The Audioholics Consumer Excellence Awards recognize the most advanced and forward-thinking products in crucial consumer electronics categories. Awards are given to products which serve consumers directly and also those products which serve to improve the business and success of the custom installer.

“We are extremely pleased to have the RCC 300 recognized as an industry-leader in subwoofers,” said Cary Christie, president of Artison. “Having the RCC 300 honored with an Audioholic Consumer Excellence Award is a testament to the effort we at Artison put into ensuring that our products are innovative while satisfying our consumers home and video needs.”

The RCC 300 In-Wall Subwoofer’s Reactance-Canceling Configuration technology allows the RCC 300 to provide vibration-free, detailed bass from an enclosure that disappears into a consumer’s environment. In addition, the RCC 300 space requirements are small, allowing it to be mounted directly into a 2″ x 4″ stud wall. Featuring a bass performance equivalent of a 10-inch floor-standing subwoofer, the RCC 300 In-Wall Subwoofer is the perfect solution for smaller rooms or installations requiring multiple subwoofers within a larger space.

The subwoofer’s accompanying amplifier is a slim 1.5 RU, which is easily hidden; and should it be displayed, its sleek black cabinet and blue backlighting are very attractive. Featuring state-of-the-art Digital Signal Processing software, it allows for a customized set up, regardless of placement within a room. Sound controls, like Power, Gain, Movie Mode, and Music Mode, are front panel accessible, giving consumers the ultimate in flexibility and performance. Located on the back are advanced features, such as Automatic Room Equalization and Variable Low Pass slopes ensure sonic perfection, regardless of placement.
