Andrew Werdean Joins the RTI Sales Team

Industry Veteran Takes Over as Western Regional Sales Manager

EDEN PRAIRIE, MN — September 7, 2006 — Remote Technologies Incorporated (RTI), the pioneer in home entertainment control technology, announced today that Andrew Werdean has joined the firm as the new Western Regional Sales Manager. Werdean will be responsible for managing distribution of RTI products in the western United States and for servicing RTI’s increasing dealer base in the territory.

“We are extremely pleased to bring Andrew on board in the capacity of West Coast Regional Sales Manager,” said Pete Baker, vice president of sales and marketing for RTI. “His expertise and field sales experience complements our existing team and his drive will ensure all RTI accounts in the western territory are suitably serviced.”

Werdean brings over 20 years of audio video industry experience to the RTI sales and marketing team. For the past ten years, Werdean served as Western Regional Sales Manager for Jamo, a division of the Klipsch Group of America. Prior to his tenure with Jamo, Werdean was the Home Audio Marketing Director and Sales Manager for MTX, a manufacturer of home and car audio equipment. Over the course of his career, Werdean has personally been involved in bringing over a hundred very successful custom home products to market.
