Hidizs, makers of DACs, digital music players, earphones, and related accessories has announced a new project with the WDC (Whale and Dolphin Conservation), the leading global charity dedicated to the protection of whales, dolphins, and their ocean homes.
The Hidizs project is the introduction of an IEM entry, the MP145. The MP145’s design was inspired by the majestic form of the Green Whale; the brand is proudly supporting WDC’s Green Whale work and helping to raise awareness about the vital role whales play in the health of the oceans, and ultimately the planet. Whale-Inspired Design: In collaboration with WDC, Hidizs drew inspiration for the MP145 from whales’ biological features. By incorporating whale tail and rorqual pleat characteristics, the MP145 has a smooth, ergonomic shape that fits the human ear perfectly. Utilizing advanced molding and five-axis CNC carving, the headphone panel is divided into 3 parts with a twelve-layer milling pattern, resembling whale tail fins and pectoral flippers.
Planar Magnetic Driver: The MP145 incorporates a customized ultra-large planar magnetic driver with a symmetrical planar magnetic driver with a 14.5mm diaphragm diameter. The large diaphragm size provides advantages in audio information and dynamic range compared to other driver types. This design supports lower harmonic distortion and enhanced magnetic circuit efficiency.
Sound Tuning Filters: Incorporating Hidizs 3 pneumatic sound tuning filter replacement technology, the MP145 offers 9 sound styles complemented by ear tips crafted for vocal, balanced, and bass modes. This cutting-edge technology provides a selection of 9 different sound styles, catering to a wide range of music genres and individual preferences.
