If you’re not listening to The Women in Vinyl podcast, you really need to sit down and give it your full attention. Episode 25 has just dropped.

Women in Vinyl Podcast Logo

The Women in Vinyl team has just released podcast Episodes 25. This week Jenn and Robyn talk with Karen Emanuel, founder of Key Production Group, a creative agency and vinyl broker founded in 1990 that helps everyone from major labels to first time artists release physical media.

If you care about music, the art of record making, and the future of the hi-fi industry — these industry professionals have some incredible and relevant stories that need to be heard. They know more about the record business than almost any audiophiles that we know. The Women in Vinyl podcast needs to be on your playlist.

Our Music Editor, Lauren Halliday, has been covering some fascinating companies in the industry including Gold Rush Vinyl which is based in Austin, Texas. Gold Rush is owned and operated by Caren Kelleher and she’s doing some incredible things down in Texas. Caren and Lauren sat down recently for a discussion about how she started one of the only women-owned pressing plants in the world.

Caren Kelleher has created new opportunities for women in the music industry and empowered women who love vinyl playback to stretch their wings and help shape the conversation and direction of the industry going forward.

The Women in Vinyl podcast is available on most of your favorite streaming platforms.

The Women in Vinyl podcast is a discussion with co-hosts Jenn D’Eugenio founder of Women in Vinyl, record collector and sales manager at a record pressing plant; and Robyn Raymond, owner of Red Spade Records, sole female lathe cutter in Canada, and Women in Vinyl contributor.

Jenn and Robyn discuss and share interviews with record labels, pressing plants, cutting engineers and more for an inside look behind the scenes with those working in the vinyl industry. They’ll also delve into everything from tech topics to questions about vinyl you may not know but are too afraid to ask.

We’re sharing (we have nothing to do with the show) because we want as many people as possible to listen to this invaluable content.
