We Are Rewind Channels the King with Limited Edition Elvis Cassette Player and 1957 Christmas Album Reissue

Celebrate the King with the WE ARE REWIND Elvis Cassette Player and 1957 Christmas Album—limited to 1,957 units worldwide.

We Are Rewind Elvis Portable Cassette Player with Christmas Album

We Are Rewind has officially resurrected the King on tape. The WE ARE REWIND x Elvis Presley Limited Edition Box Set pairs a retro-style portable cassette player with an exclusive reissue of Elvis’s 1957 Christmas Album. Limited to 1,957 units worldwide and available online starting October 15, 2025, this is not a gift for the casual fan.

This is for the person who might build a mini Elvis shrine under the tree, complete with lights, cassette towers, and a little gold foil silhouette watching their every move. Consider yourself warned: the King has returned, and he’s claiming your living room.

The Revenge of the Tape Walkman is real, and it’s loud. FiiO dropped the CP13, a USB-C cassette player that looks like something Marty McFly would’ve carried if he’d been into lossless FLAC. Boutique brands like We Are Rewind are in on it, and now every aging hipster with a tote bag is spinning tapes like it’s 1986.

Scroll through Instagram for a few seconds and you’ll see someone holding a Walkman like it’s the stolen data tape from Rogue One—precious, analog, and probably about to ruin their day emotionally. Some of these collectors are so obsessed, you half expect Ed Gein-level dedication, except instead of making furniture, they’re just building towers of mixtapes.

Nobody asked for this. The cassette’s comeback didn’t start on TikTok. It began in 2020, when indie musicians, stuck without gigs and scraping by on tiny livestream tips, turned to physical formats to survive. Tapes, vinyl, anything they could brand and sell became lifelines. Suddenly, 1983 wasn’t just a memory—it was a business plan.

WE ARE REWIND x Elvis Presley: Collector’s Cassette Player

Elvis never really left—he just got stuck in a cassette deck. The WE ARE REWIND x Elvis Presley edition takes the popular WE-001 portable cassette player and dresses it up like a rock ’n’ roll crown jewel. Inspired by the giant red “ELVIS” sign from the 1968 Comeback Special, this special player rocks a matte black finish with gold accents, a subtle wink to the King’s stage swagger.

Packaged in a collector’s box stamped with archival imagery and Elvis’s silhouette in gold foil, it’s as much a display piece as it is a player. And yes, it comes with a remastered exclusive cassette of Elvis’s 1957 Christmas Album—because nothing says “holiday spirit” like hearing the King on tape while the tree lights flicker.

WE-001 Limited Edition: Modern Features Meet Classic Cassette Cool

We Are Rewind Elvis Portable Cassette Player

The WE-001 Limited Edition isn’t just a nostalgia trip—it’s a fully modern cassette player that doesn’t make you choose between style and performance. Built on the flagship WE-001 platform, it keeps the precision and quality that made We Are Rewind a favorite among design lovers and music purists.

Key features include:

  • Bluetooth 5.1 for wireless playback to headphones, speakers, or soundbars
  • Rechargeable battery offering up to 12 hours of uninterrupted music
  • Forward and rewind controls plus a 3.5mm headphone output for classic listening
  • Line-in recording to create mixtapes or record your own vocals with a compatible mic
  • High-fidelity sound tuned specifically for cassette playback

Elvis’ Christmas Album on Tape: Because Nothing Says Holiday Spirit Like a Hip-Shaking King

Just in time for the festive chaos, the WE ARE REWIND x Elvis Limited Edition Box Set drops a remastered cassette of Elvis’ 1957 Christmas Album—a record that somehow turned “Silent Night” and “O Little Town of Bethlehem” into something that could make your grandma’s head spin.

Still one of the best-selling holiday albums ever, it’s the perfect soundtrack for anyone who thinks tinsel, ugly sweaters, and awkward family photos deserve a little hip-swinging drama.

The Bottom Line

The WE ARE REWIND x Elvis Box Set puts the King back in your hands with a sleek portable cassette player and a remastered 1957 Christmas Album—warm, slightly crunchy tape sound included, because nostalgia doesn’t come in hi-res.

It feels like the same designers had a hand in the cassette player and turntable.

Can only imagine how awful this must sound streaming from the tape or do I have that wrong?

Cashing in on dead celebrities seems to be the “thing” in 2025.

Limited to 1957 units? That’s 1956 too many.
