VizionWare Expands Marketing Team

New Product Manager and Sales Coordinator Fill Key Roles in Company’s Future Product Development and Distribution Strategy

AUSTIN, TX — February 22, 2007 — VizionWare, a Texas-based audio and video digital interconnect manufacturer, announces today the addition of two new employees to its stellar team. Ken Tompkins has been appointed to the position of Product Manager and Christy Agness to the position of Marketing Coordinator.

Ken Tompkins brings to VizionWare years of experience in sales, marketing and product development. He also has an extensive background in corporate communications and product research. Tompkins will be responsible for designing new products as well as expanding the scope of VizionWare’s existing line.

“Ken Tompkins is a great addition to the VizionWare team and he is already making an immediate and positive impact here,” said Ben Jamison, vice president of sales & marketing. “Ken is poised to not only take VizionWare’s current products to the next level but to also help develop future cutting-edge lines for our company.”

Before joining VizionWare, Tompkins held the position of Projection Market Analyst for display research firm Insight Media in Silicon Valley. There, he used his fluency in written and spoken Mandarin Chinese to analyze new display markets and technologies in Silicon Valley and in Taiwan. Prior to his position at Insight Media, Tompkins was a Product Manager and Corporate Spokesman for Optoma Technology, Inc. in Milpitas, California. There, he developed new markets for the firm by extending existing product lines and by building new business relationships in these untapped segments.

Tompkins has a well-rounded and diverse educational background. He holds a Master’s Degree from Harvard
University in East Asian Studies and he earned an M.B.A from University of Southern California, Los Angeles.

As the new Marketing Coordinator for VizionWare, Agness brings a wealth of marketing expertise to the company. Prior to joining VizionWare Agness was a marketing specialist and planner for NAVTEQ in Chicago, Illinois. There, she helped guide marketing operations internally and coordinated communications with key clients both domestically and abroad. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana.

“We’re very excited to have Christy join us as the latest addition to the VizionWare marketing team,” Jamison said. “Her experience and energy will certainly enhance our relationships and the way we work with our dealers and distributors.”
