Velodyne to Participate in EHX Spring 2007 Conference Program

Morgan Hill, CA (March 1, 2007) — Velodyne Acoustics, Inc., today announced that Bruce Hall, president of Velodyne, and Joe Finn, Eastern regional sales manager, have accepted invitations to participate in the conference program at the 8th annual Electronic House Expo (EHX) Spring 2007 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, FL. More than 11,000 industry professionals are expected at EHX Spring 2007, with more than 350 companies showcasing the hottest products in the custom electronics industry.

Hall’s presentation, “Delivering Great Bass in your Home Theater Installations,” will be held on Wednesday, March 7th from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. in Room 101A. Hall’s presentation will give an overview of bass and explain why it’s important to any home theater installation. He’ll also offer tips on how to select a subwoofer for a particular installation and how to set up and integrate a subwoofer.

Finn will serve as a panelist on “Adding Subwoofer to Multi-Room Audio Systems” on Thursday, March 8th from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in Room 101A. Bob Archer, editor at CE Pro, will moderate the session. This session will cover the sales pitch for subs in multi-room systems, explore the technical feasibility of implementing subs with a variety of multi-room audio distribution architectures and provide tips on sub placement and installation to maximize performance in multi-room applications.
