TREKSTOR GMBH INTRODUCES LATEST ULTRA-PORTABLE FLASH MP3 MUSIC PLAYERS FOR THE U.S.

i.Beat sweez FM Offers Rechargeable Battery, Built-In FM Tuner, and Sennheiser Earbuds

EAST ROCKAWAY, New York — May 7, 2007 — TrekStor GmbH, Germany’s top-selling brand of digital portable media players, has introduced the i.Beat sweez FM, a new ultra-portable flash memory MP3 music player for the U.S. Small and stylish at just 1-ounce, the i.Beat sweez plays 13 hours on a single charge and features a built-in FM tuner, and Sennheiser earbuds. Additional features include integrated voice recorder, stopwatch, alarm and USB 2.0 interface for fast file transfers. It is Windows (including Vista), Linux and Mac compatible, and comes in capacities up to 2GB, which can hold about 40 CDs.

“The i.Beat sweez FM offers great technology, fantastic sound, and great value for the user,” said Hana Arad, president of Data Station, the U.S. marketing arm for Germany-based TrekStor GmbH. “Users will appreciate the 13 hours of music play time.”

User interface is simple and intuitive, and with its backlight LCD screen, ID3 tag information is crisp and easy to read.

The i.Beat sweez FM plays music files in any number of popular formats, including MP3, WMA, and WAV. Earbuds by Sennheiser, Germany’s premier audio headphone company, deliver superior sound reproduction. In addition, the player also offers six equalizer settings as well as five repeat functions. A shuffle function enables the random selection and playback of songs, and resume function allows users to switch off the device and to continue playing where they finished off last time.

An integrated mic is handy for recording songs from the built-in FM tuner, saving telephone numbers, important information, or new songs on the fly. It can also be used as a standard USB storage device, as operating systems recognize it as a removable storage apparatus after it is connected to the USB port of a PC or laptop.

Data files can be quickly transferred to the i.Beat sweez FM using a PC via a high-speed USB 2.0 interface. WMA-DRM10 compliant, the player supports secured files for music purchased on the Internet. For managing music collections and play lists, the i.Beat sweez FM is bundled with Audiograbber software.

Accessories bundled with the i.Beat sweez FM include a neckband, USB cable, manual and software CD.
