ThinkFree Netbook Edition Enables OEMs to Integrate a Fully Microsoft Office-Compatible Productivity Suite at a Much Smaller Footprint

ThinkFree, Inc., a leader in next-generation office productivity solutions, today announced the latest addition to its ThinkFree Mobile offering, ThinkFree Netbook Edition. ThinkFree Netbook Edition delivers word processing, spreadsheet and presentation applications that have been optimized for the small screen dimensions and limited hardware resources of Intel Atom chipset-based netbooks.

Built on the robust and proven ThinkFree Mobile platform, ThinkFree Netbook Edition features a simplified user interface, seamless integration with ThinkFree Online and the highest Microsoft Office 2007 compatibility to date. The redesigned user interface delivers an easy workflow and is optimized for the small screen, making it simple for mobile users to browse, edit, create and collaborate on documents while on the go. ThinkFree Netbook Edition also features seamless integration with ThinkFree’s already existing online service for collaboration and synchronization across all documents. Including the best roundtrip Microsoft Office compatibility, users can easily share files amongst different office suites without the fear of losing formatting while on the go.

“In today’s digital world, document collaboration and real-time synchronization is a vital part of staying on top of business. Netbook users are demanding applications that are built to not only meet but make the most of the unique characteristics of this new device category,” said Su Jin Kim, CEO of ThinkFree. “Netbook OEMs can now offer their customers just that by pre-installing a customized, device-tailored version of ThinkFree Netbook Edition.”

ThinkFree Netbook Edition is available now for Windows XP, Windows Vista, Linux and Mac OS X. A free trial copy can be downloaded at http://product.thinkfree.com/mobile/netbook/.

For Netbook OEMs
