TEN Technologys New naviPlay Bluetooth Stereo Headset Plays Stereo Quality Music and Takes Calls

Form, Fashion and Function Play an Integral Part in Making TEN’s New Wireless Stereo Headphones Superior to the Competition

TEN Technology today announced its naviPlay™ Bluetooth Stereo Headset, capable of streaming high-fidelity stereo music from Bluetooth stereo enabled MP3 players or mobile phones, is now available from the Apple Online Store and select retailers packaged to include the latest version of the ground-breaking naviPlay Bluetooth Adapter for iPod™. In addition to streaming music, the naviPlay Headset allows users to make and receive calls with most Bluetooth enabled mobile phones, creating the ultimate hands-free wireless music experience.

The critically acclaimed naviPlay Bluetooth Kit for iPod has become the reference standard for wireless high-fidelity stereo audio, and has gained widespread support in various industries including automotive and high-end home audio. The naviPlay iPod Adapter works with all recent iPod models, including the latest iPod nano and 5th generation iPod with Video models. Incorporating discrete DSP and Wolfson Codec chipset similar to the ones used in the iPod, the naviPlay cuts no corners to achieve maximum musical fidelity.

“We were the first to stream iPod music over Bluetooth wireless technology with the naviPlay Bluetooth Kit for iPod and that experience helped us develop very high quality stereo for the naviPlay Headset,” said John Lin, CEO and founder of TEN Technology.

Added Lin: “With all TEN products, we strive to marry design and function to give mobile devices that extra edge consumers wished they had come with in the first place. With the new naviPlay Headset, while audio quality is paramount, comfort was our next priority. What good are wireless headphones if they hurt and you can’t keep them on?”

The old school high-end design of the naviPlay Headset’s headband wraps over the wearer’s head rather than behind the neck. The headphones fold flat for easy storage, yet has three-axis adjustment for maximum comfort. Using a special high flex material for the headband and impact-resistant polycarbonate for the rest of the assembly, the naviPlay Bluetooth Stereo Headset achieves high comfort and durability with a high-gloss finish. Lusciously thick padding on the ear and head pads distribute the featherweight 4 ounces of the headphones while isolating ambient noise for better audio experience.

With the inclusion of the Bluetooth hands-free profile, the naviPlay Headset can take calls from a Bluetooth-enabled mobile phone, ensuring users will never miss an incoming call. Users will hear their phone ring, and answer calls and pause the iPod with one button push. And if the wearer doesn’t want to be interrupted, no problem – the call can be rejected with one push as well. When finished, another button press on the naviPlay Headset will hang up and resume playing the iPod music. Additionally, the headphone controls allow for last number redial. The naviPlay Headset can also be used with Bluetooth-enabled PCs and laptops supporting A2DP profile for stereo audio or headset profile for enabling VoIP calling.

Pricing and Availability
The recommended retail pricing of the new naviPlay Bluetooth Headset Kit for iPod is under US$200.00 and will be available in the US/Canada immediately at online retailer Dr. Bott and the Apple Online Store, and in UK, Europe, Japan, and Australia/New Zealand beginning in March 2006.
