BEST-SELLING AMPLIFIER AND TWO SUBWOOFERS PAIRED FOR $399.95

TORRANCE, Calif., Feb. 21, 2007 — Cold, windy days are soon to be replaced with sunshine and budding flowers, setting the stage for the new Alpine Electronics of America, Inc. “Bloom Time. Boom Time.” consumer promotion. The spring promotion pairs the MRP-M450 V-Power mono amplifier with two 10-inch SWS-1023D Type-S subwoofers for ground-shaking, head-banging bass at a low price of $399.95. The promotion will run from March 1 through May 31 at participating authorized Alpine dealers in the U.S. Additional system packages at promotional prices are available; consumers should visit their local authorized Alpine dealer for more information.

“The ‘Bloom Time. Boom Time.’ promotion offers Alpine’s best-selling subs and amps to consumers at a very friendly price,” said Stephen Witt, vice president, Marketing, Alpine Electronics. “Spring is when consumers start getting out on the road more. So, this is a great opportunity to upgrade their sound systems with top-quality components without having to downgrade the size of their wallets.”

The 400-watt MRP-M450 mono amplifier, part of the best-selling V-Power series, delivers high dollar-per-watt performance, clean and reliable power output, and an aggressive new cosmetic look. Rugged new heat sinks ensure optimum temperature and performance for non-stop output. Variable crossover and bass EQ functions provide flexible tuning possibilities for any vehicle. Entirely redesigned for 2007, the SWS-1023D Type-S subwoofers have a shallower mounting depth, allowing for greater installation flexibility. An advanced airflow system composed of a stamped steel basket design with perimeter venting and leg-venting cooling allows the bass to play longer while keeping the subwoofer cooler.

Dealer support will include in-store collateral: danglers/posters that can be used to hang from the ceiling or mounted on a wall or window; counter cards; and an optional CD ad kit with a web banner ad and product photos needed by retailers to create customized collateral tailored for their own store. Dealers also will be informed about the promotion via the quarterly “Solutions” dealer newsletter. This promotion will be prominently displayed on the Alpine homepage (http://www.alpine-usa.com) and announced in the “Alpine — Driving Mobile Media Solutions” email newsletter sent to consumers in the Alpine database.
