Soundcore Announces Motion X600 Bluetooth Speaker with Spatial Sound

Bluetooth, hi-res, and spatial audio in a compact wireless speaker to use at home or on the go for $199.

Soundcore, the premium audio division of China-based Anker Innovations, has announced the Motion X600 Portable Speaker that offers some features you wouldn’t expect. 

Tip: Anker also offers compact video projectors through its Nebula division.

Features

Design: The Motion X600 is designed to be the company’s most premium-looking loudspeaker to date with a metal grille and a simple, yet elegant design.

Speaker Complement: The Motion X600 incorporates five drivers: two woofers, two tweeters, and one, full-range, upwards-firing driver (aka Sky Driver).

Audio Algorithm: The unique speaker array, combined with the soundcore’s audio algorithm is designed to provide an immersive, high-fidelity, audio experience, in a portable form factor. 

Bluetooth: Onboard Bluetooth allows users to stream music directly from compatible smartphones, tablets, and PCs.

LDAC: The Motion X600 is the brand’s first speaker that accepts and decodes Hi-Res LDAC sources (Android only).

EQ: The X600 includes a 9-band custom EQ accessible via the soundscore app (iOS/Android).

Power Output: The Motion X600 has a 50-watt output which provides power to fill a room with great sound.

Tip: Users can wirelessly pair two Motion X600 speakers together for a wider stereo soundstage.

Battery: The X600 includes a 6400 mAh (7.2v) internal battery which provides up to 12 hours of playtime (50% volume)

Weatherproof Rating: Thanks to its compact size, easy-to-carry handle and IPX7 waterproofing, the Motion X600 is perfect for the home, backyard, or even around the pool.

The Motion X600 is scheduled to be available for purchase on May 6 for $199.99 (US), £199.99 (UK),  €199.99 (EUR), and $269.00 (CAD) on Amazon.com, soundcore.com, and other retail partners. 

Save $50 with pre-order: The Motion X600 is available for pre-order through May 9th on soundcore’s website (www.soundcore.com) in the US, UK, Germany, or Canada for $149.99, £149.99, €149.99, and $199.99 CAD.
