Sonus faber Amati Maserati Folgore Edition Loudspeaker

Sonus faber has introduced its newest collaboration with Maserati, the Amati Maserati Folgore Edition. This loudspeaker is a special edition entry in its 5th generation Amati speaker line that showcases the talent and dedication of Sonus faber craftsmen that are paying homage to the Maserati GranTurismo name.

Design Features

The Amati Folgore has a special front panel made of ECONYL, a sustainable material also used inside the GranTurismo Folgore. ECONYL is derived from recycled nylon waste.

ECONYL was chosen for its outstanding qualities and impressive appearance; the Amati Folgore was selected as a unique platform to display its unique and highly matte surface, combined with a laser processing technique. Its parametric design expresses natural dynamism.

It’s important to emphasize that this is the first time ECONYL is being used in a car, and it is also being applied to the special edition Amati Folgore speaker. Inspired by a dancer’s movements in a photo, it shows a “controlled performance” and captures a feeling of constant motion.

Each speaker is carefully adorned with leather, adding an element of sophistication and elegance to the overall design. Through this meticulous handcrafting, Sonus faber imparts a distinctly human touch that resonates with discerning audiophiles.

Amati Folgore displays the iconic Maserati trident. The speaker cabinet features the same exquisite GT Folgore finish; the Rame Folgore (a type of copper color) creates a seamless and refined aesthetic that perfectly complements the luxurious design of the car. The finish gives the speaker a luxurious and elegant appearance. This appearance matches the outstanding sound quality of the Amati speakers.

Tip: The front panel has also been revised to include the Maserati logo within the renowned VOS (Voice of Sonus faber).

The Rame Folgore color is based on research on how color can interact with light, evolving in constant interaction with the surrounding environment. The design is influenced by modern architecture, such as the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao. It combines warm copper colors in sunny parts with cooler bluish-gray variations in shaded areas.

The Amati Folgore incorporates technical capabilities and features within an elegant and refined design intended to capture attention. The graceful lute shape contoured top of this special edition proudly displays the iconic Maserati trident. It’s an encounter of two icons: the symbol of Maserati’s boldness meeting Sonus faber’s historical technical innovation.
