Sonance Scores a Double on ADEX Awards
San Clemente, CA–July 2006–Sonance, inventor of the in-wall speaker and a leading maker of high-performance loudspeakers and other components for custom-installed home media and theater systems, has garnered a pair of coveted ADEX awards–the distinction awarded by Design Journal, a leading international trade magazine catering to interior designers, architects and facility managers. Choosing from among a record 1500+ entries, Design Journal recognized Sonance’s exciting new Mariner line of indoor/outdoor, environmentally rugged speakers with a Silver ADEX, and its acclaimed Symphony family of audiophile-grade in-wall & in-ceiling “architectural” designs with a Gold award.
Both awards were given in the competition’s Technology category, one of more than two-dozen that span virtually every aspect of home and work-place design, decorating, improvement, and construction, in which ADEX awards are conferred.
