SLAPPA Expands Popular d2i Product Line, Adds 25 More SKUs

Charlotte, NC, February 7, 2008 — SLAPPA (www.slappa.com), the maker of high-end storage cases and travel bags for digital equipment, today announced it has expanded its patented and highly popular d2i interlocking page system to include 25 new products. The d2i system was first launched in early 2006 and immediately gained recognition as the most flexible disc storage solution, capable of being used in cases, storage boxes and drawer systems while saving as much as 90% save space, allowing users to store their discs and covers in dedicated pockets while replacing jewel cases. The patented d2i SLIDE-N-LOCK pages that provide the most flexible CD storage solution on the market, capable of being used in cases, storage boxes and drawer systems.

The new cases being added to the d2i line include more colors (Platinum, Graphite, Black Wave, and Blue), the popular 360 CD capacity, a series of 160 capacity cases, DVD storage cases (90/90 DVD and 40/40 DVD), CD and DVD storage boxes that can be used on shelves and new d2i tabs and dividers.

Also new to the interlocking pages series of products are new d3i storage pages for CD and DVD. The d3i pages consist of 3 pockets per page side; where 2 pockets are for discs and 1 pocket is for the cover/artwork. These pages are ideal for 2-disc sets such as concert CD’s and special edition DVD’s.

“The d2i product line has been a hit since we launched it, and since the launch we have received hundreds of phone calls and e-mails from people who wanted us to expand the line further” said SLAPPA President Dominick Martinetti. “Now with the addition of more storage options and the d3i pages, we are confident that we offer the best disc storage solutions on the market.”

The d2i collection consists of SLAPPA’s award winning HardBody xEVA cases that can withstand water, fire, bumps and bangs. The d2i series is available in 40, 80 and 240 capacity cases, and true to SLAPPA form, each case has all the “little extras” that SLAPPA has become known for including velvet lined interiors, industrial strength zipper with 2 molded zipper pullers, a disc cleaning cloth and a spine labeling system to sort and categorize collections.
