Sherbourn announced the PT-7020C4 7.1-channel home theater preamplifier/processor with fully integrated Control4 capabilities. Designed with the high-end installer in mind and offering full Ethernet control and 5 HDMI 1.4 ports, the unit is fully 3D compatible and also offers a true hardware bypass for direct, unprocessed 3D streams to the video monitor. In addition, a full color on-screen display is capable of transparency over live video.
The PT-7020C4’s twin Cirrus 32-bit dual-core DSP processors provide support for all the latest audio formats, and deliver true 192k performance. Balanced XLR connections offer noise-free compatibility with the finest audio power amplifiers. Video processing is handled by a high performance Genesis/Torino scaling engine offering true 10-bit processing, Faroudja DCDi Cinema Format Conversion and Truelife video enhancer.
For automation and remote control capability, the 7020C4 incorporates a powerful, fully integrated Control4 controller with full 2-way Zigbee capability and 1080p HDMI output capability.
