Our coverage of vintage audio continues to draw a lot of readers, and there is no question that the demand for vintage audio gear is going through a renaissance. Manufacturers are not oblivious to this reality and we have seen more than a few brands like Wharfedale, KLH, Klipsch, JBL, and Mission create something “new” to meet that demand.
One company that is embracing this trend is Revival Audio (definitely a fitting name), which has announced a new speaker series, the ATALANTE.
The ATALANTE line comprises two stand-mount models, the ATALANTE 3 and the ATALANTE 5.
The speakers are handmade in France, crafted by sound experts with four decades of audio brand experience that have worked with high-end speaker brands in France, Denmark, and the US. As a result of collaboration, several proprietary technologies have been implemented in Atalante speakers, which will are highlighted in the feature/specifications sections of this article. Both speakers come with a Walnut finish.

ATALANTE 3
The ATALANTE 3 is a compact, bookshelf-size speaker. The intent of its design is to deliver quality sound in setups where a compact size speaker is more practical than a traditional floor-stander.

ATALANTE 5
The ATALANTE 5 has a larger cabinet design that looks in-between the size of a compact and floorstanding speaker. The 5 is designed to produce full-range audio with clear highs, present midrange, and deep, tight bass, but still, be placed on a stand so that the speaker drivers are directed at ear-level height.
Tip: The ATALANTE 5 does come with a small tilt stand if you want to place it on the floor. The stands shown in the image are optional.

I’m very intrigued by this, have been contemplating a large driver setup. Auditioned a few Klipsch heritage speakers recently. I was quoted a bit over $5k from France with shipping, tough one when you can’t audition. I’ll keep thinking about it, they look great.
