A mini power station for high performance AV equipment, regenerating sine wave perfect high current AC

PS Audio just announced the PerfectWave Premier 10 PowerPlant, featuring patented PS Audio technology to regenerate perfect sine wave, ultra-low distortion AC power. Machined to complement the most discerning home theaters and AV racks, components connected to the PerfectWave Premier 10 can receive up to 2000 watts of peak power, 70 amp instantaneous current delivery.

Aside from regenerating power with 100 times lower impedance than the AC source, PS Audio's PerfectWave Premier 10 PowerPlant features five programmable IsoZones, providing separate differential mode filters to clean noises generated by the connected equipment itself. New heat sink designs provide cooling with no need for fans. IsoZone filters and fan-less design allow the PowerPlant to generate incredible silence, fulfilling a demand of discriminating audio and home theater enthusiasts.

Control of the PerfectWave Premier 10 Power Plant is possible via touch screen, or a web interface via PS Audio's Globalnet service. An onboard Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) meter and oscilloscope visually display power levels and performance parameters. THD is generally reserved for measuring amplification devices, but gauging the THD of home AC power output identifies the precise quality of power feeding equipment.

PS Audio PerfectWave Premier 10 PowerPlant

The technology behind PS Audio's PerfectWave PowerPlants has redefined the capabilities of AC power for almost two decades of audio video evolution, based on the principle of power regeneration, not conditioning. At the PowerPlant's core, an internal analog amplifier produces AC power for connected equipment while a low distortion sine wave generator feeds sine wave perfect signals to the power amplifier, together producing 2000 watt peaks of pure power. Sine wave altering technologies from PS Audio including MultiWave and CleanWave also enhance the PowerPlants value for hands-on audio enthusiasts who like to tinker.

Price and Availability
Shipping in January, the PS Audio PerfectWave Premier 10 PowerPlant has a suggested MSRP of $4,499.99 domestically, $4,999.99 internationally.
