Pro Audio Technology (PRO), founded in by Paul Hales, is a leading supplier of high-output loudspeakers and DSP loudspeaker controllers for elite private screening rooms. For 2024 it is celebrating its 20th anniversary by bringing a new line of loudspeakers to the CEDIA Expo being held in Denver, Colorado from September 5-7 2024.
What’s New
The five new multi-purpose loudspeakers are designed to fill a void at the premium end of the market for high output, yet compact and flexible audio solutions for installed and portable commercial and residential installations, DVLED (more commonly referred to as video wall) installations.
The speakers are designed to have lively dynamics, a high maximum output level, and refined acoustic performance. For the past 20 years, PRO has focused on designing and manufacturing a complete range of loudspeakers and DSP-amplified loudspeaker controllers that address the needs of high-end residential installations, bringing cinematic sound into the home – most commonly into upscale private screening rooms.
The new PRO loudspeakers were designed from top to bottom including ergonomic handles, multiple fly points, industry-standard mount points, and pole cups. Optional PRO SplitYoke Multipurpose Mounting Brackets can be used to install all PRO Commercial loudspeakers easily on the wall, ceiling, floor, and other surfaces. And the PRO SplitYoke Bracket Kits works with all five models – no need for additional accessories.
Add the PRO Caster Kit designed for the CF-212.3 full-range speaker, or CLF-212 subwoofer and the models become portable in an instant. Once the wheels are installed, simply roll it into place, connect the speaker wires to an external Theory loudspeaker controller and it’s ready to play.
This is especially ideal for DJs, outdoor events, corporate venues, hospitality, and more where big, clear, full-range sound is required. All-weather versions of each model are also available.

Here is what know about the five new speakers so far.
CF-28.2
The CF-28.2 incorporates a dual 8-inch 2-way multi-use loudspeaker with an 80° x 60° elliptical horn. For installations integral pole cups and ergonomic handles are included. In addition an PRO SplitYoke Multipurpose Mounting Bracket Kit for horizontal and vertical surface mounting is available.
CF-46.2
The CF-46.2 is a quad 6-inch 2-way multi-use loudspeaker with an ultra-slender profile providing 120-degree conical coverage. For installations integral pole cups and ergonomic handles are included. In addition an PRO SplitYoke Multipurpose Mounting Bracket Kit for horizontal and vertical surface mounting is available.
CF-112.2
The CF-112.2 is a single 12-inch 2-way multi-use loudspeaker with an 80° x 60° elliptical horn. For installation integral pole cups and ergonomic handles are included. In addition an PRO SplitYoke Multipurpose Mounting Bracket Kit for horizontal and vertical surface mounting is available.
CF-212.3
The CF-212.3 is a full-range multi-use loudspeaker with a built-in subwoofer. The speaker includes dual 12-inch and dual 8-inch drivers within a 3-way multi-use design. The CF-212.3 has a rugged, refined enclosure that is only 10 inches deep. For installations integral pole cups and ergonomic handles are included.
In addition an PRO SplitYoke Multipurpose Mounting Bracket Kit for horizontal and vertical surface mounting is available. A Caster Kit is also available for portability.
CLF-212
The CLF-212 high-output, compact bass-reflex subwoofer with dual 12-inch 1,400-watt woofers. To make sure that the frequency of the frequency range of the CLF-212 is compatible with the rest of the speakers it is sonically matched to CF-46.2, CF-28.2, and CF-112.2. The CLF-212 includes integral pole cups and ergonomic handles for ease of installation.

Attendees of the 2024 CEDIA EXPO will be able to see and hear all five new speaker and subwoofer models in booth 1943.
In addition, in-room HPA 202, there will be a 20th-anniversary get-together from 4 to 6 pm (MT).
