NHT x 3: Three New Sites Cover NHTs Updated Selection

BENICIA, CA, May 17, 2005 — As a direct result of the company’s ever-growing product selection and incorporation of new technologies, NHT today unveiled three new web sites, each of which focuses on a specific product line.

The new sites, respectively covering the full consumer product line (www.nhthifi.com), the new NHT Xd DEQX Calibrated speaker corrected system (www.nhtxd.com), and NHT Pro Audio (www.nhtpro.com), feature newly expanded product information and photos, as well as owner’s manuals, brochures, press materials, reviews, and a new warranty registration process that provides enhanced speed and value for the consumer. Additionally, the general consumer site (nhthifi.com) includes an archive (or library) of NHT newsletters.

“The very nature of a manufacturer’s web site forces a company to continually update material in order to stay current, but as NHT has grown over the past few years, we saw the need to break out our online representation into three distinct subject areas, since that’s the only way to accurately reflect the direction of the brand,” said Chris Byrne, NHT’s Managing Director and Co-Founder. “NHT Xd in particular requires us to present the full story on how this important new technology will affect the audio market as a whole, not just our brand, so it was only natural to give it a unique place on the web.”

The new sites were orchestrated by Kevin Frazier, NHT’s Manager of Operations, who saw this expansion as an opportunity to better serve NHT’s consumer and pro audio end-users with a wider knowledge base that is targeted to their respective needs.

“The introduction of NHT Xd forced us to re-evaluate our presence on the web,” noted Frazier. “Xd is so unique that simply positioning it as just another product option is like saying The Beatles were just another pop group. Once we broke out Xd from the standard line, we realized that each area deserves a separate site that focuses attention on end-user benefits.”

Warranty Registration, With the Emphasis on Service

While many manufacturers’ web sites include warranty registration procedures, the new NHT sites feature a streamlined system that focuses on the customer/dealer experience. Users are asked specific questions regarding products purchased, dealer information, level of satisfaction, and the ways in which NHT can further improve the process.

All data is stored in encrypted .xml files that are uploaded nightly to the company’s servers. With this process, NHT continually monitors where people are buying products, how customers are treated by dealers, and what the end-user would like to see in future models and support materials, making it easy for the company to better serve consumers and dealers on an ongoing basis.

The new, dedicated NHT Xd web site features a soup-to-nuts presentation on the line, in addition to plain-English explanations of the technology and its benefits. A link to the Xd site is included in the general consumer version, while the NHT Pro Audio site features a distinctly different approach, designed to communicate the value of the selection through product information, producer/engineer testimonials, and more.

Since it was founded in 1986, NHT has continually challenged the notion that the very best sound reproduction must come at a premium price. NHT takes pride in designing and marketing loudspeaker systems that provide a lifetime of listening pleasure. Its products from past to present speak volumes of NHT’s dedication to sonic excellence.
