Tripp Lite Announces New Line of Rackmount Enterprise-Class NetController
KVM Switches in 4-, 8- and 16-Port Configurations

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Chicago, IL (April 28, 2008)–Tripp Lite, a world-leading manufacturer of power protection and connectivity equipment, has expanded its popular enterprise-class KVM Switch line by introducing a brand new line of highly-flexible NetController USB/PS2 1U Rackmount KVM Switches (models: B042-004, B042-008 and B042-016). They are available in 4-, 8- and 16-port configurations and are designed to control and monitor up to 128 computers.

“We’ve expanded our line of KVM Switches by adding yet another level of versatility and affordability,” said David Posner, Tripp Lite’s Director of Product Marketing for Connectivity Products. “Our new line of NetController KVM Switches cannot only be daisy-chained to each other for easy customization, all three models are also rackmountable and include a 4-port switch that Tripp Lite has never offered before. They also give the user a choice of USB or PS/2 inputs for the keyboard and mouse, along with a choice of USB or PS/2 attachment to the computer. With this new combination of features, our NetController KVM Switches will offer functionality and flexibility to network and IT administrators throughout their business day.”

The new Rackmountable KVM Switches feature a dedicated daisy-chain port that allows expandability up to 128 computers. In addition, Tripp Lite’s new NetController KVM Switches feature an On Screen Display (OSD) menu for easy switch management and port selection, password protection, auto-scanning, auto-logout and video support to 2048 x 1536 pixels. They mount easily in a standard 19″ rack/cabinet and include all necessary mounting hardware.
