NetStreams Hires New Midwest Sales Manager

Austin, TX — December 20, 2004 — NetStreams, the leader in IP-based Networked Audio distribution, announced the addition of a new member to its sales team. Jason Baumann joins the company as Midwest Regional Sales Manager. He brings to NetStreams an outstanding sales performance record, and a familiarity with the custom installation industry that fits with the needs of NetStreams’ dealers.

“Jason Baumann’s focus and creativity are going to be very valuable assets as we execute the next phases of our sales and marketing strategy,” said Buzz Goddard, vice president of sales at NetStreams. “Our midwestern dealers have a great resource in Jason’s knowledge of the audio industry and his enthusiasm for developing rich customer relationships. We’re excited to have his talent behind our efforts to introduce dealers to the benefits of our technology.”

NetStreams is a company that stands out for bringing real innovation to distributed audio and video,” said Baumann. “NetStreams’ systems have been designed from the ground up to give everyone who touches them an immediately intuitive experience. Whether you’re an installer setting up a NetStreams system, or you’re a homeowner who’s never used an entertainment distribution system, you’ll find DigiLinX and Musica each have feature sets that provide high-performance results.”

As Midwestern Sales Manager, Jason Baumann will be responsible for driving the sales growth in the Midwest Region. Jason will also be instrumental in the creation and implementation of sales and incentive programs, as well as work closely with the company’s distributor network to ensure sell-through of products within the dealer base. He will also coordinate trainings, support research and development based on customer feedback, and help promote the NetStreams brand in the custom installation channel.

Jason Baumann’s previous experience as both a regional sales manager and manufacturer’s sales representative ideally equips him for his new position at NetStreams. Prior to joining, he worked at KEF America, where he generated top growth for his region, and was responsible for training custom installers and independent retailers. Prior to that, he was a rep at RJ Throckmorton Sales where he was recognized with a number of manufacturer’s achievement awards for his work improving sales, managed marketing strategy, and coordinated training.
