Home theater customers typically need products features that mass market manufacturers aren’t willing to include, so Neothings focus has been on performance and features rather than price. The first product offering from Neothings is the Avalon switch. “Avalon is a component video (aka YPbPr) and digital audio matrix switch system. It will be offered as a 6×2 and an 8×4. It is a true matrix, so each output is independent of the others. In addition audio and video can be switched separately.” comments Paul in his blog. He adds, “It has an attractive 2U chassis that is a real head turner”.
