Over 12 CMOS-Based Cameras Provide Powerful, Economical Solutions in
Wired, Ethernet and Wireless Versions; Ideal for Businesses and Homes

INFOCOMM ’08, LAS VEGAS, May 28, 2008 — MilesTek, a global distributor delivering a vast range of networking and A/V integration products, introduces a series of more than 12 technologically advanced IP Cameras at INFOCOMM International 2008, the annual convention of the International Communications Industries Association, beginning next month.

The new Internet Protocol Cameras are flexible, reliable and affordable. They provide powerful, economical solutions for IP and network surveillance, especially in small business and residential applications. Unlike traditional CCTV systems, which can require substantial investments in installation time and equipment, MilesTek’s IP Cameras are easy to set up, require little additional equipment, and come supplied with user-friendly Cam Viewer Lite software.

The Cameras include wired, power-over-Ethernet (POE) and wireless versions. All the Cameras feature an integrated microcomputer and a high-quality CMOS Digital-Image-Sensor, enabling them to display high-quality live streaming video over LANs and the Internet.

MilesTek’s line of over 12 different IP cameras offers purchasers much to choose from, and features capabilities designed to fit any application requirement, including:
• Indoor and outdoor conditions
• IR for day and night viewing
• Weather- and vandal-proof bodies
• 360-degree panning, plus tilt and zoom controls

The cameras can be set to record events or periods of time. They can detect and record motion, or a specific area. If motion is detected, they can be set to alert users via e-mail or trigger an alarm system. Their recordings can be saved as video or picture files, and attached in e-mail. Built-in audio capability and a microphone allow two-way communication between different camera points.

Installation and set-up for the Cameras are as easy as one, two, three. First, mount the IP Camera at a desired location. Next, connect the network cabling between a PC, the switch and the IP Camera. Finally, install the free Cam Viewer Lite software in the PC.

MilesTek’s new IP Cameras are available now, and can be seen with MilesTek’s other outstanding products at Booth C1952, Las Vegas Convention Center, during the show.
