Liberty Wire & Cable Introduces Recession-Fighting Cherry-Picking Order Initiative

Installer-Friendly Option Helps Businesses Save on Costs, Increase Efficiency, and Better Sample Vast Menu of Product and Service Solutions

COLORADO SPRINGS, CO, Apr. 20, 2009 — Liberty Wire & Cable, worldwide supplier of a broad and expanding range of wire and cable products for the audio/video trade, introduces a recession-fighting Cherry-Picking Initiative to provide more and better options to help commercial and residential installers and other customers through tough times in the economy.

Liberty’s Initiative is designed to protect and preserve installers’ businesses by encouraging and helping them select from more than 7,000 SKUs. This is the broadest selection of products, services and options in the industry, including the market’s largest selection of Lutron lighting products. With so many items to Cherry Pick among, and assistance available from Liberty’s technical specialists, Liberty provides a valuable alternative to allocating precious capital to maintain high inventory levels. Customers can, in effect, just use Liberty’s warehouses as their own, selecting what they need when they need it, knowing that Liberty’s delivery services are swift and reliable.

“Given the dynamics of today’s economy, we know Cherry-Picking products is a must-do procedure for every professional AV customer,” said Kirk Horlbeck, Liberty’s Senior Vice President of Marketing. “That’s why Liberty wants to be the first stop on our customers’ Cherry Pick list. As professionals shop around for bargains, we know they will inevitably focus on Liberty for our quality, performance and economy.”

In a recession like that of the present, Liberty assumes customers work with multiple suppliers and advocates Cherry Picking for several reasons: as a means to immediate savings, as a profit protection strategy, and as a good way to sample both products and services. Along with its products, for example, Liberty provides an enormous variety of in-stock and custom wall plates through its PanelCrafters division, and custom cable assemblies and kitting services for any type of installation.
