Liberty Wire & Cable Names Kevin Cole New Commercial National Accounts Manager

Eight-Year Company Veteran Appointed to New Position Created to Strategically Address Rapid Growth in Key Sales Arena

COLORADO SPRINGS, CO, May 1, 2007 — Liberty Wire & Cable, worldwide supplier of a broad range of wire and cable products for the audio/video trade, has announced the appointment of Kevin Cole as its first Commercial National Accounts Manager, — a new position the company created to address the rapid growth of its sales.

The appointment comes as a promotion to Mr. Cole, who began his career at Liberty Wire and Cable as a member of the team responsible for the development of Liberty’s commercial business. He has held increasingly responsible positions at Liberty throughout his eight years with the company, serving most recently as Regional Sales Manager for the Midwest.

“Commercial National Accounts Managers are among the leadership roles in the AV industry,” said Andy Bergdoll, President of Liberty Wire and Cable. “National Accounts approach the marketplace with a strategic vision that drives both customer satisfaction and industry investment,” Bergdoll continued. “We are excited to have a polished industry professional like Kevin Cole take the helm of our Commercial National Accounts Business.”

John Dace, Liberty Vice President of Sales, added that “This is a new position at Liberty, created in response to escalating sales growth in the National Accounts arena. The position will provide a single point of leadership for Liberty’s marquis accounts and will be essential for future growth.”
