LaCie Increases Product Warranties Up To Three Years
• Solution products now covered up to three years
• Prosumer products now covered up to two years
• New optional warranty to cover advance product replacement
PORTLAND, OR (November 2007) — LaCie today unveiled its new warranty strategy that will increase standard coverage to three years for its high-end Solution products, plus the introduction of a new on-site advance replacement option that will swap items without having to first send back. LaCie’s Solution products are defined by their capabilities for specific applications such as high-performance audio and video editing, RAID and networked attached storage (NAS). These products also include the d2 Quadra, the 2big Family, the Rugged Triple Interface and all monitors. LaCie’s Professional Consumer (Prosumer) products now have a standard warranty of two years and include most other LaCie storage products.
LaCie’s new warranty program is effective immediately. For Solution models that come standard with three-year warranties, the optional advance replacement warranty is available for purchase up to 30 days after receipt of product.
