The projector comes standard in a Matte low-reflective black finish like the current Knoll Systems hi def projectors. But the HDP-6000 has easily removable panels that can be ordered in different colors like white, gloss black and walnut wood grain. There is even a ready-for-paint primered panel for truly designer-friendly color matching to the ceiling color! The elegant cable management feature allows the installer to hide the wires and conceal the back from exposed wire connections, further enhancing the aesthetics. Making life easier for the installers, and more satisfying for designers is the 2–HD lens shift capability (horizontal and vertical axis), enabling better room placement.
Built into every projector is Knoll’s pre-installation full factory set-up. This calibration used to cost hundreds of dollars and it’s now included in each KAMEALEON, HDP-6000. ISF Certified Calibration Controls allow for professional set-up of the settings as well. Once programmed, these cannot be deleted or altered unless intentionally modified. This saves the installer hours of set-up time if they have all the resources, a true value to the homeowner and installer.
