HTC announced the One V smartphone, utilizing the classic design of the HTC Legend. The basic smartphone has a 1GHz processor and 3.7-inch screen (480×800 resolution), yet runs the latest Android 4.0 operating system with HTC Sense 4.
The 5-megapixel camera includes HTC's ImageSense technology with auto focus, smart LED flash, and BSI sensor (for better low-light captures), F2.0 aperture and 28mm lens, and 720p HD video recording. Interestingly you can capture a photo in the midst of recording HD video and continuous shooting mode captures multiple snapshots
The mid-spec smartphone still packs in Beats Audio for sound enhancement and Bluetooth 4.0 with aptX for wireless audio capabilities.
Price and Availability
The HTC One V is expected to be available this spring 2012, pricing TBD.
