HAI has expanded support of Audio control through its Omni and Lumina home control systems.
HAI’s newly released 2.14 controller firmware added support for the Hi-Fi by HAI system via all models of HAI’s OmniTouch touchscreen and all software interfaces, including Web-Link II, Home Control for Windows Media Center and HAI’s Snap-Link. Snap-Link also now supports the operation of NuVo’s Concerto and Simplese distributed audio systems, as well as Russound’s CAM and CAV6.6 distributed audio systems through the OmniPro II and Lumina Pro controllers.
Through Snap-Link, Web-Link II, and Home Control for Windows Media Center the user can turn audio zones on/off and select the source and volume for each zone. The user can also control source devices and display source feedback when supported by the selected audio system and/or source.
HAI is also adding support for the NuVo Grand Concerto audio system; the Xantech MRC-88 audio system; the Speakercraft MZC audio systems; and the Proficient M4 and M6 audio systems. Support for these systems should be available by May 1, 2007.
